NCEA Level One
Mathematics with Applications (11MAP)

The NCEA Level One Mathematics with Applications (11MAP) course is designed to;
  • Ensure students gain a minimum of 8 Level One Credits to meet the numeracy requirements of NCEA Level One.
  • Ensure students have the opportunity to gain 14 Level One credits to meet the numeracy requirements of University Entrance.
  • Ensure students have the opportunity to gain as many Level One credits as possible.
  • To give students the basic numeracy skills needed for everyday calculations.

Further to this it is possible for the students to put in additional work and to sit some (or all) of the External Achievement Standard Examinations. This will require commitement and support from home, and would require all of the school practice assessments to be completed.


Please Note:     Some Unit Standard and Achievement Standard credits can only be counted once towards your total number of credits.
